Birthday


Last night we were promised aurora. Either they didn't happen, or I missed them as my attention was elsewhere, but something much better happened instead: a 7lb 9oz miracle came into the world. Still trying to come to terms with it, but this is what it's all about, all of it.

    Thanks all. Slowly getting used to it. I guess it helps that I'm deaf so it's the wife that gets up at night!

    Thanks Jixiang - I've had a lot of changes to my routines, but it's the wife who has to get up in the night as (being hard of hearing) I'm not woken up when the baby cries.
